Funeral services for Mr. Kurt Fuchs, 80 of Alvin, Texas will be held on Friday at 11:00 A.M. at the Groveton Funeral Home Cartwright Memorial Chapel with interment in the Chita Cemetery. Rev.Arlis Fuller will officiate. Mr. Fuchs was born on February 5, 1933 in Brownsville, Texas to Kurt and Matilda Wedman Fuchs. He passed away on May 6, 2013 in Alvin, Texas. He worked for TRA water plant in Trinity, Texas until he moved to Alvin, Texas. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and a veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean War.He is preceded in death by his wife: Mildred Parker Fuchs, his parents, sisters: Frieda Fuchs and Charlotte Fuchs Liddell.He leaves to survive daughters and sons in laws: Janelle and Marty Jorgenson and Angelia and Jim Helfrich; Sister Margaret Fuchs Bernstein; 5 Grandchildren: Susan Martin, Andrew Martin, Jubilee Jorgenson, Emily Jorgenson and Allen Jorgenson.Visitation will be from 10:00 till service time.Groveton Funeral Home directors.
