Kathryne Marie Norsworthy, 52 of Groveton, Texas was called home to be with our Lord April 24, 2017. Kathryne was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and a great friend to many.  She loved her children and especially her grandchildren. She helped with the Girl Scouts throughout the years as well as with the American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be held at Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, Texas on Friday, April 28, 2017 beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.  Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home with Brother Mitch Flanagan officiating.  Burial will follow in East Prairie Cemetery in the Possum Walk community of Groveton, Texas.

Mrs.  Norsworthy is preceded in death by her step-father Jimmy Adrian Smith; brother Walter Shannon "Bear" Smith; granddaughter Harley Norsworthy; mother-in-law and father-in-law Lettie Faye and Carrell Edd Norsworthy; brother-in-law Carrell Dean Norsworthy and a niece Katie Michelle Norsworthy.  Her survivors include her doting and loving husband Albert Wayne Norsworthy; her children: son Jason D. Norsworthy and wife Jelisa Norsworthy, daughter Sara K. Schaefer and husband Vincent Schaefer, son Cory A. Norsworthy and wife Iris E. Norsworthy and a nephew who was more like one of her children James W. Smith; four grandsons Samuel A. Norsworthy, Kaden K. Schaefer, Haden J. Schaefer and Talen A. Schaefer; father Robert D. Klare; mother Patti F. Stegall; step-father Vance Stegall; brother Robert E. Klare; sister-in-law Liz Klare; brother Christopher Klare; sister-in-law Shannon Klare; sister Nikki Klare; beloved pet Chance Norsworthy and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
