Karron Delilah Goodrow Hamby died and went to her eternal home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, on January 12, 2021 in Houston, Texas at the age of 80 years. She was born in Houston, Texas on October 25, 1940 to John William Goodrow and Johnnie Faye (McPike) Goodrow.
Karron was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved crafts. She made jewelry, painted, collected rocks, artifacts, and arrowheads. She truly enjoyed the outdoors.

Karron is preceded in death by her father, John William Goodrow; her mother, Johnnie Faye Goodrow; sister, Nelda Smith; brother, John William Goodrow, Jr.; sister, Nelda Harrison; brother, Paul Goodrow; grandson, Casey Lee and husband, John Hamby. Her survivors include her loving children: daughter, Laura M. Lowery Barnett; son, Marvin E. Lowery; grandson, Brandon M. Lowery; grandson, Michael Lee; granddaughter, Jennifer Lowery McClendon; grandson, Jacob Lowery; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 stepchildren and their families and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also, survive.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 23, 2021 in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, TX.
