Karen Denise (Hobbs) Snyder of Groveton, Texas, was born on January 3, 1957, in Mobile, Alabama to David Hobbs and Gloria (Neff) Hobbs and passed away to her eternal home on September 22, 2021, at the age of 64 years in Crockett, Texas.

Mrs. Snyder is survived by her husband of 26 years Douglas Snyder; two daughters, Rebecca Williams and husband, Daniel of Groveton, TX and Elizabeth Calvart and husband, Christopher of Ft. Worth, TX; brother: David Hobbs and wife, Debora of Palestine, TX., sister: Sharon Yancey and husband, Gary of Houston, TX., grandchildren: Brian Williams, Dannielle Williams and significant, other Cody Tullos, James Williams, Austin Williams, Braxton Williams, Ryan Calvart, great grandson: Rylen Tullos, and a precious baby girl on the way, and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.

She is preceded in death by her parents, David, and Gloria Hobbs.

She loved her family. Especially watching her grandchildren. Karen loved to go fishing and take the grandkids to fishing tournaments when she was able. She also loved shopping trips. Karen was affiliated with the Oaklawn Baptist church.

Graveside Service will begin at 11:00 am on Friday, October 1, 2021, at Glenwood Cemetery in Groveton, Texas with Bro. Lester McAdams officiating.
