Justin Dan "J.D." Pyle was born on November 1, 1987, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Dan Everett Pyle and Shannon White Pyle. He passed away on September 11, 2025, at his residence in Trinity, Texas, at the age of thirty-seven.
Justin graduated from Apple Springs High School in 2006. On October 19, 2015, he married the love of his life, Ashley Marie Pyle, in Lufkin, Texas. Justin was known for his strong work ethic, fun-loving spirit, and big heart. He loved welding, hunting, fishing, working on vehicles, 4-wheeling, riding ATVs, and camping. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his precious daughter.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ruth and Lindy White; paternal grandparents, Johnny Melvin Pyle and Doris Cook; and grandmother-in-law Doris Jean Talley.
Justin is survived by his loving wife, Ashley Pyle of Trinity; daughter, Tinsley Pyle; parents, Dan and Shannon White Pyle of Apple Springs; sister, Heather Morgan and husband Ryan of Lufkin; brother, Shane Pyle and wife Danna of Nacogdoches; nieces and nephews, Avery, Kylie, Jace, Britney, Seth, Heath, Sawyer, Adalynn, and Bailey; mother- and father-in-law, Tammy and Kevin Lloyd of Trinity; brother-in-law, Kevin Lloyd and wife Amber of Mt. Belvieu; along with a host of other relatives and friends who will deeply miss him.
The family will receive visitors on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, Texas. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Cartwright Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jake Stanbery officiating. Interment will follow in Bennett Cemetery.
