Obituary

Judith Ann Anderson passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on February 23, 2021 in Houston, Texas. Judith was born May 2,1937 to Clarence Festus Anderson and Juanita Morris. Judith enjoyed books, she mentored as a librarian at Kinkaid for many years. She was also a writer; she wrote bible studies for many years and was writing a study on the book of Psalms and almost had it completed so it could be published. She was handy and enjoyed working and fixing things that she could. Judith loved flowers so much that the hobby became a trade and she worked as a florist for years. Judith also was a Lab Technician for many years. Judith loved cooking for her family and friends and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Anderson is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Juanita Anderson; brother, Timothy Anderson and sisters: Sandra Mayberry and Leslie Anderson
She is survived by her children: daughter, Stephanie Anderson of Montgomery, TX; son, Benjamin Anderson of Houston, TX; grandchildren: Brendon, Tyler, Randy, and Michael; nephews: James Anderson, Chris Anderson, Phillip Davis, and Errol Johnson; nieces: Rhonda Anderson, Diane Zolton, Amanda Sailer, and Courtney Anderson; and a host of other relatives and friends, also survive.
Memorial service will begin at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 27, 2021 in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, TX.
