Joseph Dories Matte III of Groveton, Texas, was born on August 29, 1985, Galveston, Texas to Joseph Doris Matte Jr. and Cynthia Frances (Parker) Matte and passed away to his eternal home on August 16, 2021, at the age of 35 years in Groveton, Texas.

JoJo loved his family and loved to be outdoors. JoJo was very creative, he enjoyed drawing and painting.

Jojo is survived by his sisters: Jennifer and husband, Bryan Thornton, Donna Richardson; brothers: Joseph Julius Matte and wife, Sherri, Richard Brian Malin, Dennis Guidry; aunt, Linda Parker and husband, Gene, Special friend Regie Paterson, and numerous other family, and friends, and cousins also survive.

Mr. Matte is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Cynthia, brother; Dannie Manno.
