Joseph Daniel "Joe" Floyd, of Groveton, Texas, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the age of fifty-eight, peacefully. Joe was born on February 6,.1964, in Eureka, California to father, Charlie Lamar Floyd and mother, Marvis Francis (Lee) Floyd.

Joe enjoyed working with wood. He was a skilled cabinet maker. He loved to run a chainsaw. Joe has really enjoyed bee keeping. Gardening and hunting were also one of Joe's hobbies. Joe never met a stranger. He was a Christian by Faith.

Joe leaves behind to cherish his memories, his son, Dylan Floyd, and grandchild; brothers: Markus Floyd and partner Judy, Rodger Floyd, Anthony Floyd and wife, Sammie; sister: Vanessa and husband, Ronald Lankford; and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family, and many friends also survive.

Mr. Floyd is preceded in death by his loving wife, Dollie Floyd; father, Charlie Floyd; mother, Marvis Francis (Lee)Floyd.

Family will have a Memorial Service at a later date.
