Funeral services for Mr. Joe Barton Mochman, 76 of Corrigan, Texas will be held on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Groveton Funeral Home Cartwright Memorial Chapel with Rev. Robert Araif officiating. Interment will follow in the Sumpter Cemetery.
Mr. Mochman was born on December  8, 1936 in Groveton, Texas in the Sylvester Community. He passed away on July 26, 2013 at his residence.
He was a veteran of the US Navy and was a member of the Church of Christ in Corrigan. He worked as a boilermaker, welder, logger, contractor and a truck driver but was now retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert Franklin Mochman and Berniece Edell Wright Mochman; Sister: Dorothy Jean Fontenot and sister Hattie Marie Mochman.
He is survived by his wife Tommie Stevenson Mochman of Corrigan; Daughter: Marilyn & husband Bernard Correia of Pearland; Son: Leslie & Wife Sherry Mochman of Corrigan; Son: Aaron & wife Stefanie Mochman of Groveton; Daughter: Kariann & husband Michael Hart of Corrigan; Brothers: James & Doris Mochman  of Deer Park and Bobby & Peggy Mochman of LaPorte; Skister: Evonne Reynolds of Sugarland; 10 grandchildren: Parker Correia, Brooke Mochman, Hayley Hart, Tiffany Hart, Baxter Correia, Christis Mochman, Nikki Mochman, Jaden Hart, Karlee Mochman and Logan Hart.
Pallbearers will be Parker Correia, Carl Thomas, Danny Gleaton, William King, Jason Lawson and Jessie Mize. Honorary will be Jaden Hart and Baxter Correia.
