JoAnn Perkins, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, went to be with the Lord on the twenty-second day of November of 2013 at the age of 71. She was born February 27, 1942 to Clifton Reynolds and Annie Lee Thompson Reynolds; JoAnn grew up in the "family home" in Possum Walk filled with love, laughter, hard-work, and the unseen presence of the Lord. She graduated from high school and later worked as a seamstress for the Stanley Jeans Corp.

Her survivors include her children, Kelli and Aaron Henderson, of Mesquite, Texas, Karla Perkins, of Groveton, Texas, Heath and Sarah Perkins, of Kingwood, Texas, Heather and Jerry Harrell, of Groveton, Texas; grandchildren, Landon, Katie JoAnn Betts, Cory, Jenna, Nathan, Noah, Sierra, Jerry and Dalton; brothers and sisters, Cora Lee Smith, Jim and Nora Reynolds, Bobby Jean Tuck, John and Patricia Reynolds, Clifford Reynolds, Buddy and Kerri Reynolds, Dianne Droddy, Delores and Bill Moore, Nelson and Linda Reynolds; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

Visitation will be at Groveton Funeral Home on Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 25, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Groveton Funeral Home. Bro. Dee Queen will officiate the services and Bro. Jim Turner will assist. Burial will follow at East Prairie "Possum Walk" Cemetery. JoAnn will be escorted to her final resting place by her pallbearers, Randall Horn, John Reynolds, Jr., Dusty Miller, Brandon Reynolds, Courtland Droddy, Clifford Moore, Billy Moore, Jr. and Jason Smith. Her honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Tuck and Ethan Reynolds.
