Jerry Lynn Tullos was born April 17, 1938 in Trinity, TX to John Tullos and Ola (Roach) Tullos. God called Jerry home on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the age of 81 years in Lufkin, TX.

Jerry grew up in Apple Springs, TX. He graduated from Apple Springs High School and went on to work at Lufkin Industries until his retirement. He loved to be outdoors and to hunt and fish. He also shared a passion for ranching and raising cattle. He loved the Lord and was a member of Centralia Church of Christ where he served as one of the elders.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ola Tullos; three brothers: Earl Tullos, Winfred Tullos and Dan Tullos and his sister Laverne Tullos Harvell. Survivors include his loving wife, Kathleen "Kay" Tullos of Apple Springs, TX; his children: son, Gary Tullos (Karen) of Huntsville, TX; son, Terry Tullos (Terri) of Apple Springs; son, Kevin Tullos (Patsy) of Apple Springs, TX; brother, Dewayne Tullos (Joni) of Apple Springs, TX; numerous grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, TX with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Keith Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Bennett Cemetery in Apple Springs, TX.

Pallbearers:  Danny Tullos, Ryan Barrett, Douglas Maxfield, Daniel Phipps, Morris Childers, David Jones.
