Funeral Services for Jerry Luther Thompson, 59 of Houston will be held at 11:00 am., Friday, February 12th in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home in Goveton with Brother James Whittlesey officiating. Burial will follow in Ellis Prairie Cemetery in Friday. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until service time on Friday at Groveton Funeral Home.

Jerry was born on October 29th, 1956 in Pasadena, Texas to the late O.Z. Thompson and Eloise (Anderson) Parker. God called Mr. Thompson home on Monday, February 8th, 2016.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Cindi Rae Thompson; father, O.Z. Thompson; mother, Eloise Thompson Parker; step-father, Willie H. Parker and grandparents, Martin and Mary Thompson and Jerome and Estelle Anderson.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Kay Moser and husband Tommy Moser of Hinesville, Georgia; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda Davis and Lewis Davis of Friday, Texas; Three grandchildren, Harley, Zoe and Chase Moser of Hinesville, Georgia; nephew, Joey Phillips of Austin, Texas; niece, Jill Fuller of Buford, Georgia; great niece and great nephew, Brenley and Broxson of Buford, Georgia; step-son, Johnny Cazalas; special and caring friends, Debbie Dupuis and Alice Campbell. Survivors also include a host of other relatives and friends.
