Jerry A. Harrell, Jr. of Groveton, passed away August 30, 2022, at the age of forty-four. JJ was born on July 23, 1978, in Huntsville, Texas to father, Jerry A. Harrell and mother, Connie (Countryman) Harrell.
JJ graduated from high school and later joined and served in the United States Army. He enjoyed being outdoors and traveling while working as a truck driver because he truly enjoyed seeing all that the world had to offer. He also loved hunting, fishing, and riding backroads but his greatest joy was spending time with his children, especially his grandchildren because he really loved seeing their smiles.
JJ leaves behind to cherish his memories his children: daughter, Sierra Harrell and fiancé, Chase Hill of Livingston; his two sons: Jerry A. Harrell, III "Trey" of Livingston and Dalton Harrell and Valerie Morales of Joshua; his three grandchildren: Terra Mathias, Ellinor Hill, and Roman Morales Harrell; parents, Jerry and Connie Harrell of Oakhurst; siblings: sister, Stephanie Whiting of Florida; sister, Brandi Scott; brother, Brandon Beshears; brother, Joshua Harrell and wife, Kelsey of Oakhurst; grandmother, Joyce Countryman; honorary daughter, Kylee Cook; special friend, Tanya Cook, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and many friends also survive.

Jerry is preceded in death by his grandparents: Johnnie and Ann Harrell.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. in the Northside Baptist Church in Huntsville, TX under the direction of the Harrell Family.
