Funeral services for Jeramy Craig Peterson, age 31, of Burke will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 21, in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton. The family will be receiving visitors at 10:00 a.m. to service time on Monday, December 21.

Jeramy was born on August 15, 1984 to Craig Alan Peterson and Tracy Ann Aycock in Houston, Texas and passed away on Monday, December 14, 2015 in Lufkin, Texas. Jeramy loved being outdoors, hunting, mudding, and being with family. He loved music and dancing; he enjoyed life, and there was never a dull moment when he was present.

He is survived by his loving wife, Renee Peterson; daughter, Cecilia Anne Rooney; son, Shaun Arron Rooney;parents, Craig Peterson and Tracy Aycock Stokes; grandparents Jim and Shirley Peterson, and Gene and Virginia Sontag; greatgrandmother, Essie McMullen; brothers, Jason Aycock and Jerad Peterson; sister, Shana Marquez; mother-in-law, Peggy Hamilton; father-in-law, Loyd Ray Hamilton; sister-in-laws, Micey Peterson, Cecelia Bonin and Kelly Hamilton; brother- and sister-in-law, Michael and Christy Hamilton; special family members, Michelle and Crystal Coley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

Mr. Peterson is preceded in death by his great grandmother, Alliene Ruth (Sutton); grandfather, Allen Greene Aycock; uncle, Roy Jay Coley; great grandfather, E.F. McMullen.

Pallbearers will be Jason Aycock, Jerad Peterson, Josh Aycock, Josh Hernandez, Michael Hamilton, Sam Stapleton, and Jarrod Maxfield.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Carl Avery, Lucus Springer, Chris Edwards, Colton Aycock, Johnathon Aycock, (Dinky) William Duke, and Randy Harrold.
