Memorial services for Jeffery Alan Malone "The Coolionare", age 68 of Woodlake, TX will begin Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, TX.
Jeffery was born June 21, 1955, in Germany to parents, James Buford Malone and Lillian (Richardson) Malone and returned to his heavenly home Wednesday, August 9, 2023, in Woodlake, TX.
" The Coolionare" was born and raised in a military family. He joined the United States Army after graduation from Groveton High School in Groveton, TX. He was a man who enjoyed life and worked doing many different occupations after his service with the Army. He loved adventures and worked as a photographer and news reporter. He also enjoyed flying and became a pilot. Jeff loved traveling and seeing the world. He enjoyed fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking in the deserts, catching, and collecting reptiles, as well as doing trivia and collecting coins.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Malone and his mother, Lillian Malone.
Jeff is survived by his loving daughters: Monica White of Woodlake, TX, Chelse Gonsalves of Maryland, and Erin Espalin of New Mexico; sisters: Christie Abbott and Melodye French; grandchildren: Jared White and Savannah White; special friend and caretaker, Margaret Pate and a host of other relatives and friends.
