Jane Ruth Lute, 82 of Groveton, Texas was called home to be with our Lord May 22, 2017 after her courageous battle with cancer. Jane was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and a great friend to many.  She loved to travel and go on "road trips." She enjoyed crocheting and knitting.  Jane also enjoyed sitting down with a good book and reading or keeping her mind sharp working on crossword puzzles and playing a good game of bingo.

Ms. Lute is preceded in death by her parents Herman and Julia Hill; her late husband and the father of her children Ralph Eugene Wood; brothers: Richard, Charles and Herman E. Hill and her sister Margaret Haddock.  Her survivors include her children: daughter Margaret Dale Foster of Houston, Texas and daughter Glenda Sue Gargasz of Franklin, Pennsylvania; ex-husband and phenomenal grandfather Richard Lawrence Lute; grandchildren Donald Paul Foster, Jr., Ronald Ray Foster and Sarah Jane Howard; great grandchildren Arianna Elizabeth Foster, Colton Ray Aday, Daphne Foster, Carson Lee Foster, Phoebe Foster, Nathaniel Foster, Callum Jack Howard and Evelyn Grace Howard and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
