James Alexander Williams was born July 1, 2004, in Crockett, Texas to parents, Daniel Lee Williams and Rebecca Ann (Swift) Williams. He peacefully returned to his heavenly home Saturday, June 17, 2023, at the age of eighteen years.
James was preceded in death by his fraternal great grandmother, Evelyn Williams; maternal great grandmother, Gloria Hobbs; maternal great grandfather, Lenard Snyder; maternal great grandparents:  Joe and Charlene Swift; second cousin, Wade Williams; second cousin, Jacob Thompson; maternal grandmother, Karen Snyder.
James is survived by his loving parents, Daniel and Rebecca Williams, of Groveton, TX; brother, Brian Williams; sister, Danielle Williams and Cody Tullos; brother, Austin Williams; brother, Braxton Williams; fraternal grandmother, Susan Thompson Talley; fraternal grandfather, Larry Williams; maternal grandfather, Robert Swift; maternal grandfather, Doug Snyder;  aunt, Elizabeth Calvert and husband, Chris; uncle, Nicholas Williams and fiancé, Karen Sarigumba; aunt, Brook Williams; nephews and niece:  Rylen, LouKaisee, and Logen Tullos; first cousins, Ryan Calvert, Makayla Williams, Eddie Johnson, and Brooklyn Johnson; and a host of other cousins, and other relatives and many friends also survive.
James graduated from Groveton High School Class of 2022. He went on to work on tugboats after graduation. He was a very diligent worker and loved to be able to help others. He was truly a people person. James loved the outdoors and enjoyed going hunting, fishing, racoon hunting, and traveling.
Memorial\Celebration of Life services for James Alexander Williams will begin Saturday, June24, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Groveton High School Gymnasium in Groveton, Texas with Pastor Michael David Brittian Assisting.
