James Larry Isbell, age 55, of Livingston, Texas, completed his earthly journey and went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 25, 2013. James was born on January 15, 1958 in Houston, Texas to his parents Edgar and Cleo (Ashworth) Isbell. He served in the United States Army and later worked in construction.

Mr. Isbell leaves behind his legacy to his wife, Mary Isbell, of Livingston, Texas formerly of Groveton; daughter, Christy Chamnuss, of Advance, Indiana; son, James L. Isbell, Jr., of Frankfort, Indiana; daughter, Joanna L. Isbell, of Advance, Indiana; ten grandchildren; sister, Pat Woodard, of San Marcus, Texas; sister, Cindy McKinney, of Shepherd, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Mitzy and Jimmy Smith, of Shepherd, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Mikeal and Jennifer Isbell, of Pasadena, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Renee Isbell, of Livingston, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for James Larry Isbell will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of the Groveton Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Corbett officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until service time on Saturday morning.
