Funeral Services for James Ray Horace 64, of Groveton, Texas will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 13, 2010 in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of the Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, Texas with Rev. C.J. McFarland to officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time on Saturday. Interment will follow in the Pennington Cemetery in Pennington, Texas.

James Ray was born September 17, 1946, to James Ray Horace, Sr. and Mammie Lee Horace in Pennington, Texas. He is preceded in death by John Henry Horace, Johnnie Horace, James Horace, Jr., Inez Norman, and Gladys Wagner.

He is survived by his loving wife, Emma Horace of Groveton, TX, children, Chunner Brown of Dallas, TX, Gregory Horace of Groveton, TX, Cynthia Horace of Willis, TX, Kelbin Horace of Dallas, TX, Kevin Horace of Groveton, TX, brothers and sisters, Lois and Lucky Horace, Earl and Shirley Horace, Elbert and Ruthie Horace, Glorthea and Elmer, Joyce Wilbert Kimble, 7 Grandchildren and a special cousin and friend, Will Mitchell.
