Services for J.W. Mosley lovingly known as "Old Man", age 70, of Groveton will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 30, in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, with Brother Bueford Rogers officiating. The family will be receiving visitors from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the Groveton Funeral Home.
The family would like to request that in lieu of plants or flowers that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation.

J.W. was born on July 26, 1945 to Woodroe and Opal Mosley in Trinity County and passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at his home due to kidney failure. He was married to the love of his life, Vera Mosley on April 26, 1982 and they resided in Groveton. He is survived by his loving wife, Vera Mosely of Groveton; son, John Mosley of Groveton; son, Jason Mosley of Groveton; son, Richard Smith of Houston; son, Timothy Smith of Trinity; daughter and son-in-law, Jo and Craig Davis of Trinity; seven grandchildren; one great grandson; two sisters, one brother and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Mosley is preceded in death by his parents, Woodroe Mosely and Opal Mosley and a sister, Irene Summerall.
