Henrietta Robertson passed away on January 28, 2023, peacefully at her home in Groveton, Texas. She was born July 6th, 1929, to Emery Lee Garner and Addie Coble Garner. She was the nineth child born of ten. She was raised during the era where children stayed home to work and help with the family instead of attending school. Henrietta felt that it was important to complete her education and went back to school to complete her GED. She worked in retail when she was older and eventually met the love of her life William Judson
Robertson. Henrietta and William loved traveling. Henrietta loved attending church services, where she played the organ and sang. She always enjoyed spending time with her family and her extended family through church. She loved to cook, especially baking her famous cakes and pies for various functions. She also enjoyed sewing and gardening. She loved keeping her yard gorgeous.
Mrs. Robertson is survived by her loving children: daughter, Barbara Ann Hardison of Phoenix, Arizona; son, Dennis Ray Robertson and wife, Sunny of Coldspring, Texas; son, Gary L. Robertson and wife, Becky of Angleton, Texas; six grandchildren: Leah Robertson, Alexis Robertson, Christy Liddy, Bennie Richbourg, Marla Richbourg, and Wendy Gayle; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; four siblings: brothers: Johnnie Garner of Groveton, Texas; Al Garner of Chico, California; Aubrey Garner and wife, Leanne of Katy, Texas; and sister, Leigh of Porter, Texas; and a host more of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends, also survive.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Emery and Addie Garner; husband, William Judson Robertson; brothers: Richard, Vernon, Lonnie, and Emery Garner, Jr.; sister, Berniece Norsworthy.
Visitation will begin Saturday, February 4, 2023, at the Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church in Groveton at 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Lonnie Valance officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Groveton, Texas.
