Helen Marie Mason of Manvel formerly of Nogalus Prairie, Texas, was born on September 2,1934, in Nogalus Prairie, Texas to Barner and Hazel (King) Davis and passed away to her eternal home on September 11, 2021, at the age of 87 years in Manvel, Texas.

Mrs. Mason loved to spend time with all the family. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being in the garden when she was able. Helen loved vacation bible school, also she loved to play 42. Helen attended the Calvary Baptist Church. She also worked for Walmart in Houston for 11½ years.

Mrs. Helen is survived by her son: Clois Lynn Prothro and wife, Brenda of Nogalus Prairie; daughter's: Vanessa Haskins and husband, James of Manvel, TX., Gayla Draper and husband, Guy of Splendora, TX. grandchildren: Cari Chambliss and husband, John, Lisa Anderson and husband, David; James Haskins and wife, Rae;, Michelle, Sonya,; great grandchildren: Cassidi, Camryn, Gavin, Sylissa, Blake, Nikki, Lily, Amanda, Edwin, Jack, Rick, Chris, Jasmin, Cheyenne,: great-great grandchildren: Joslyn and Skylar, Henry, Marilyn, Sophia, Landon, Bentley, and, E.J.; brother: O'Neal Davis and wife, Carolyn, Lewis Davis and wife, Brenda, and Rayford Davis and wife, Marilyn; sister: Linda Wood and husband, Kenneth, Johnny Davis and wife, Carmen, Donny Davis and wife, Terri; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive.

Mrs. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Barner and Hazel Davis; husband, Jack Mason; Brothers: Loyd David, and Carl Davis; sister in law Jerri Davis.
