Funeral services for Mrs. Grace LaNell Holcombe Brizendine, 77 of Apple Springs, Texas will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Groveton Funeral Home Cartwright Memorial Chapel with Bro.Nimmons officiating.  Interment will be in the Bennett Cemetery. Mrs. Brizendine was born September 19, 1935 in Trinity County, Texas to Thomas Hill and Addie Vivian Sullivan Holcombe.   She was a member of the Apple Springs Baptist Church and was an accountant.She was preceded in death by husband Donald Brizendine Sr. in 2009 and son in law Randolph Wray Parnell;  Brother: Marlin Holcombe; Sisters: Hildred Cochran, Helen Hightower and Lois Brown.She is survived by daughters and son in law: Darla Bena and Terry Reich of Spring, Texas and Sharon Parnell of Conroe, Texas; Son: Donald Leslie Brizendine, Jr.; Brother: Thomas Earl Holcombe and sisters Nelda Mueller and Sue Thrasher. 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchidren and several other relatives and friends.Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday evening at Groveton Funeral Home.Groveton Funeral Home, directors
