Glenda Carol Rosser was born in Cleveland, TX to Elmer Reeves and Artha Bell Coleman Reeves on February 11,1954 and was called to her eternal home on July 22, 2020 surrounded by her family in Friday, TX at the age of 66 years.

Glenda was a wonderful wife and a devoted mother. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She graduated from Trinity High school in 1972 and later met the love of her life James Rosser. They married in January of 1981 at Friday Baptist Church. She worked for Texas Department of Criminal Justice for many years and was the manager over the commissary department. She liked living in the country and enjoyed working out in her yard. She liked to hunt but loved to fish. She also enjoyed shopping, cleaning, and cooking for her family. She was known for her home cooked meals by her grandchildren.

Mrs. Rosser is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, James Rosser of Friday, TX; children: daughter, Amanda Rosser and husband, Todd Sharp of Friday, TX; daughter, Rebecca Sciullo and husband, Toby Scuillo of Pennington, TX; daughter, Denice Wars and husband, Rickey Wars of Friday, TX; siblings: sister, Betty Fry and husband, James of Groveton, TX; brother, Archie Reeves and wife, Marilyn of Trinity, TX; sister, Joyce Ann Roberson and husband, Wayne of Huntsville, TX; sister, Margaret Reeves of Trinity, TX; sister, Rebecca Gilbert and husband, Randy of Trinity, TX; brother, Billy Reeves and wife, Donna of Trinity, TX; sister, Susie Ragsdale and husband, Tracy of Trinity, TX; grandchildren: Dillon Hance and wife, Tara, Mikala Hance, Brook Wars, Kyle Wars, Elizabeth Sciullo, Kaylin Magee, Kade Rosser, Cooper Sciullo; 10 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Reeves and Artha Bell Reeves; brother, John Alvin Reeves; brother, Jerry Lee "Bobo" Reeves; niece, Jennifer Starling and mother-in-law, Reba Rosser.

Visitation will be held from at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, TX. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Friday in Friday, TX on Saturday, July 25, 2020 with Bro. Lewis Jones and Bro. Wesley May officiating. Burial will follow in Ellis Prairie Cemetery in Friday, TX.
