Graveside services for Gerald Dewitt Lisembee, 72, of Groveton, Texas will be held Thursday, March 9 ^th , 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Glenwood Cemetery with Brother Lester McAdams officiating the services.

Mr. Lisembee finished his race and completed the task the Lord Jesus had given him, entering eternal life on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in Katy, Texas.  He was born July 6 ^th , 1944 in Houston, Texas.  His parents were R.B. Lisembee and Jewel Scott. He began his career working as a Machinist and he enjoyed watching sports in his down time.  He also loved to play his banjo and his guitar.

He is preceded in death by his father R.B. Lisembee; a brother Alton Lisembee and a sister Joyce Newman. He is survived by his daughter Donna Lisembee of Groveton, Texas; daughter Linda Hall of Trinity, Texas; mother Jewel Potts of Houston, Texas; grandson Robert Aranza of Dallas, Texas; grandson Gerald Hall of Groveton, Texas; grandson Kenny Ray Hall of Groveton, Texas; grandson Charles Hall and wife Christy of Huntington; great granddaughters Hailey, Gracie, Katy and Hadlee Hall; sisters Patsy, Nina, Carolyn and Carla Jean; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends whom he loved dearly.
