Gearline (Jeffrey) Davidson was born January 21, 1938, in Apple Springs, Texas to parents, Fannin Jeffrey and Ollie (Nash) Jeffrey. She peacefully returned to her heavenly home Friday, March 17, 2023, at the age of eighty-five years.
Gearline was a very family-oriented woman. She loved spending time with her family, and she especially loved volunteering to help others. She had a special gift that allowed her to just take people in and help to give them the care that was needed when they were unable. She thoroughly enjoyed doing for others. Her husband doted on her and was so proud of her selflessness.
Mrs. Davidson was preceded in death by her husband, E.G. Davidson; son, "Jim" James Arthur Davidson; parents, Fannin and Ollie Jeffrey; brothers: Boyd Milton Jeffrey, Robert Reese Jeffrey, and twin, Earlene Jeffrey.
Mrs. Davidson is survived by her loving children: son, Michael Jeffrey Davidson of Anchorage, Alaska; daughter, Melisa Diane Carlson and husband, Fred of Tennessee Colony, Texas; son, Phillip Andrew Davidson and wife, Lucy of Anchorage, Alaska; son, Richard Glain Davidson of Apple Springs, Texas; daughter-in-law, Karen Davidson of Neches, Texas; grandchildren: Jeffrey Davidson, Angela Davidson, Maria Davidson, Marrisa Davidson, Justin Carlson, and Seth Carlson; great-grandchildren: Paxton and Paisley; great-great-grandchild, Weston Carlson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation for Gearline Davidson will begin Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. until funeral service time 11:00 a.m. at Groveton Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Jones officiating. Interment in Bennett Cemetery in Apple Springs, Texas.
