Funeral services for Mr. Garland Gibbins, Sr. of Richland, Washington will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Groveton Funeral Home Cartwright Memorial Chapel with Bro. Eugene Gibbins officiating. Interment will be in the East Prairie (PossumWalk ) cemetery.
Mr. Gibbins was born August 28,1927 in Trinity County and passed away on February 18, 2013 at his
residence at the age of 85.
He was a rancher and a retired pipefitter,  member of the Eastern Star Lodge #284 A.M. & F.M. and a Member of the Scottish Rite.
He is survived by his wife Wanda Gibbons of Richland, Washington; Son & wife: Eugene & Mary Gibbins of Port St. Lucia, Florida; Son: Garland Gibbins, Jr. of Livingston, Texas; Daughter & husband
Mary & Jerry Philan of Kingwood, Texas and Daughter & husband Barbara & Randall Owens of Groveton, Texas; Step-daughter: Betty Gibbins of Seattle Washington;  7 Grandchildren and 10 Great
Grandchildren.    Numerous other relatives and friends
Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 - 8  at the Groveton Funeral Home.
