Frances Elizabeth Townsend Rogers December 2, 1950-February 6, 2021

Frances Elizabeth Townsend Rogers passed away on February 6th surrounded by loved ones at her home. Frances married the love of her life, Coy Rogers on August 7, 1966. Frances spent her younger adult life devoted to her children and husband and the rest of her life spoiling her babies. She loved fishing, sewing, and turning any trash into a treasure by adding some paint and glue. She devoted many years working at the Groveton School District where she loved every child she met. She will be missed by all that know her.

Mrs. Rogers is preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Townsend; mother, Florene Davis; and stepfather, Claude Davis.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by her husband, Coy Rogers; daughter, Sabrina Kelly and husband, Richard Kelly; Beverly Parker husband, Tim Parker; son, Lynn Rogers and wife, Rose Rogers, siblings:  Sam Bo Townsend, Joey Townsend and wife, Linda Townsend, Terry Townsend and wife, Gina Townsend, step-brother: Darrell Davis and wife, Debbie Davis; grandchildren:  Cortni and husband, Lawrence, Taylor, Candace, Nikki,  Kelsey and husband, Dustin, Zachary and wife, Holley, Breanna, and Paige; great-grandchildren:  Kayde, Kylie, Dyson, Kolbi, Casey, Addie, and Ryleigh; and a host of niece, nephews, and other relatives and friends, also survive.

Visitation for Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Rogers will begin at 2:00 PM- service time at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Josserand Baptist Church in Groveton, TX with Bro. Bueford Rogers officiating. Interment East Prairie (Possum Walk) Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Clayton Wallace, Jim Bob Rogers, Keith Rogers, Michael Paul Townsend, Jeremy Townsend, and Bueford Rogers.

The family requests that everyone please wear a mask and social distance at services.  Also, everyone please wear your favorite shade of blue in honor of Mrs. Rogers' favorite color.
