Eugene Prentice Reese, age 79, was born on May 28, 1934 in Trinity, Texas to his parents, Prentice and Jewel (Tullos) Reese and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 12, 2013, in Houston, Texas. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, December 16, at Thornton Cemetery with Bro. Lewis Jones officiating.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters, Neline Reese Walker, Norma Lee Reese, Beth Ann Reese Friday and Murrey Reese; nephew, Terry Friday. Eugene's survivors include his brother-in-law, Ed Welch; nieces and nephews, Susie Kristoph, Linda Augustine Lee, Cathy Locke, Debbie Fleming and husband, Kenny, Jerry Friday and wife, Pat, Ricky Friday, Rob Walker, David Wright; a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.
