Elizabeth Louise Lowry (Betty), age 87, completed her earthly journey and went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 8, 2014. Memorial service for (Betty) will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 12, 2014 in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home with James Due conducting.

Betty was born on December 30, 1926 in Marble Hill, Missouri to her parents, Ora and Wesley Brisbon. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Edith and Edna; and six brothers, Willard, Dub, Gene, Bobby, Ralph and Raymon Glen. Her survivors include her three children, daughter, Linda June Bergeron and husband, Allan Bergeron, of Payne Springs, Texas, son, John Wesley Lowry and wife, Lana Lowry, of Watauga, Texas and son, Patrick Kevan Lowry and wife, Susan K. Lowry, of Warren, Texas; five grandchildren, Erik Kerr, Tara Slocum, Kristie Shanley, Justin Lowry and Heather Lowry; five great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, also survive.
