Groveton

Obituary

Ann Lee graduated from Groveton High School Class of 1969. She was the wife of Sherriff Brent Lee and mother to three God loving children: Lisa Mullins, Trish Gee and Steven Lee. Ann was a beloved grandmother to six wonderful grandchildren: Rachel and Sydney Gee, Cade and Cael Mullins and Hayden and Abby Lee. Ann was a blessing to anyone that knew her or crossed her path. She emanated life and light and had a warrior spirit despite her illness.

Ann fought a twenty-year battle of Huntington's Disease. A very special thank you to all the people that cared for her throughout the years. Thank you to the following care facilities that cared for her: Magnolia Court, Marian Place and Castle Pines. Judy, Evelyn and Maxine gave Ann the most up most respect and dignity throughout their time for caring for her at Marian Place. Her family is so grateful and appreciative for the respect you gave our mother. Her entire family was so proud of her and how she fought her battle. No one was more devoted to caring for her than her beloved husband, Sherriff Brent Lee. Ann loved the Lord with all her heart and wanted everyone she met love him too. Her anthem for her life was Psalm 46: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherriff Brent Lee and her parents, Sherman and Blanch Avery.
