Dottie Jo Moore was born in Hunt County, Texas on March 6, 1941 to William Adell and Allie Bell Oswalt Weatherread and passed from this life into eternity on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 in Dayton, TX, at the age of 78 years.

Dottie loved to live her life to its fullest. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great- great grandson. She also loved to read, garden, create arts and crafts and do embroidery.
Ms. Moore is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Albert Dean Helker; sister, Joyce Breeze and her three brothers, Thomas, Wayne and Billy Jack Weatherread. Her survivors include his daughter, Nancy Carol Baugh of Houston, TX; daughter, Bobbie Jo Martin and husband, Stephen Martin of Pennington, TX; son, William Lee Moore and wife, Mary Diane Moore of Groveton, TX; son, Madison Adell Moore and wife, Rhonda Maria of Georgetown, TX; sister, Vanita Thomas of Granberry, TX; brother, Charles Adell Weatherread of Louisville, TX; grandchildren: Tonya Marie Bruce, Frank Allen Baugh, Jr, Billie Jo Mcgee, Madison Adell Moore, II, Stephen Ray Martin, II, Katherine Ann Moore, Amber Lynn Hernandez, and Alisa Diane Moore; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson and a host of nieces, nephews and other beloved relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Groveton Funeral Home with Bro. William Perry Bruce officiating services that begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery in Apple Springs, TX.
