Graveside services for Donald Hudson Nevins, age 68 of Apple Springs will begin Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Zion Cemetery with Bro. Lester McAdams officiating. Visitation will begin Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. until service time at Mount Zion Cemetery. Interment will follow in Mount Zion, Apple Springs, Texas.

Donald passed from this world to Jesus Christ's side in heaven November 19, 2023, at his home in Apple Springs, TX. He was born August 10, 1955, in Houston, Texas. He was the son of Clark Hudson Nevins and Lorena (Parrish) Nevins.
Donald enjoyed fishing. Loved to work. Especially anything to do with being on his tractor or lawnmower. He loved sitting out on his front porch and visiting with his friends and family. He was a graduate of Centerville High School in 1973. He was a member of the Oaklawn Baptist Church and a member of Groveton Masonic Lodge #284 AF & AM.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Clark Hudson Nevins, and Lorena (Parrish) Nevins; sister: Linda Redd; brother-in-law: Raymond Redd; sister: Rela Havard.
Donald is survived by his son: Duane Nevins & wife Kacie of Apple Springs, TX; granddaughter: Audrey Nevins of Apple Springs; brother-in-law: Tommy Havard of Apple Springs; niece: Dawn Bailey & husband Scott of Lufkin; niece: Wendy King of Lufkin; nephew: Michael Beaty & wife Stacy of Huntington; mother of child: Karen Conner Vickers; host of great nieces & great nephews & other relatives and friends.
