Funeral services for Mrs. Dimple Louise Ables Deaton will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Groveton Funeral Home Cartwright Memorial Chapel. Bro. Preston Baker will officate. Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery in Groveton, Texas.
Mrs. Deaton was born on May 30, 1924 in Groveton, Texas and passed away on December 18, 2012 at her residence in Shepherd, Texas at the age of 88.
She and her husband Jack were members of the First United Methodist Church in Groveton and when they moved to Shepherd they moved their letter to Shepherd First Baptist church.She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Deaton in 1997, parents Albert Ables and Emma Taylor Ables and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by children Jackie Washburn and husband Jimmy of Shepherd, Texas, Kathleen Neuman and husband Raymond of Livingston, Texas and son Dennis Deaton of Bayou Vista, Texas; Brothers: Warren Ables and Robert Ables and sister Emma Mae Stewart; 14 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren;; 2 Great Great Grandchildren
Pallbearers will be Grandsons: Jim Washburn,Scott Washburn,Jeff Washburn,Sam Washburn,Jason Thompson,Kyle Thompson, Justin Washburn and Jack Preston Deaton.
