Funeral services for Mr. Dennis Ray Gressett, 64 of Friday, Texas will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Groveton Funeral Home Cartwright Memorial Chapel with Bro Lewis Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Ellis Prairie Cemetery.
Mr. Gressett was born on November 15, 1948 in Houston and passed away at his residence on December 31, 2012 .He was employed by pipe fitters local 211 as a welder. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife Martha Faye Gressett of Friday, Texas; Son: Shannon Shane Gressett of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Sons & Daughters in law: Michael Shane and Suzanne Gressett of Houston; Billy Joe and Nicole Gressett of Livingston; Brother and sister-in-law: Randy and Dale Gressett of Tyler; Sister in law: Lila Gressett of Groveton and 7 Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Tommie Gressett Sr and Mary Sue Gressett and a brother Tommie Gressett, Jr.
Pallbearers will be Michael Shane Gressett, Billy Gressett, Jason Mosley, Sammy Guy, Greg Guy and Randy Gressett, Jr.
Visitation willl be held from 10:00 till service time on Thursday.
