Delores Marie Koonce of San Augustine, TX, went to her eternal home on, September 18, 2022, at the age of sixty-seven. Delores was born on October 13, 1954, in San Augustine, TX to parents, Willis Franklin Koonce and Rosa Maria (Sanchez) Koonce.
Delores was a selfless woman who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling and dancing. Delores' favorite thing to do was cook. She truly enjoyed making her grandchildren snacks and all kinds of goodies.

Delores leaves behind to cherish her memories her children: two daughters, Christy Bogs and husband, Raymond "Bogs of Groveton, TX, and Jeanna Cates of Huntington, TX; son, Judd Eddins and wife, Courtney of Gary, TX; sisters, Martha Morales of Monahans, TX, and Mary Singleton and husband, Steve of Chireno, TX; brother, Jesse Koonce and wife, Cathy of Huntington, TX; grandchildren, Shon Eddins, Brandon Kemper, Kyleigh Bogs, Raylee Bogs, Brooke Pichotta, Sierrah McClain, Dustin Bogs, Brittany Porter, Cody Porter, Teah Reece, Ty Eddins, Cadeyn Eddins, Rylee Eddins, Judsyn Eddins; great grandchildren, Kodi McClain, Kyler Ware, Jaxon and Lola Porter, Hayden Blackwell, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.

Delores is preceded in death by her loving parents, Willis Franklin Koonce and Rosa Maria Koonce and sisters, Norlene Frances Koonce, and Rose Helen Reynolds.

Visitation for Delores Koonce will begin at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at the Groveton Funeral Home Chapel until service time at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Michael Loftin officiating. Committal services and burial will begin at 3:00 p.m. at Macune Cemetery in San Augustine, TX.
