Mrs. Debra Brooks McKinley finished her race and completed the task the Lord Jesus had given her, entering eternal life on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in Lufkin, Texas.  She was born June 24 ^th , 1960 in Harris County, Texas.  Her parents were James Edward Brooks and Linda Brooks. She began his career working in education and taught for numerous years.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ed and Linda Brooks and a brother Doug Brooks. She is survived by her husband Chris McKinley; son Dane Kennedy; daughter Amanda Kennedy; son Jerrod Kennedy; son Zachary Kennedy; brother Jimmy Brooks; brother Gerald Brooks; brother Don Brooks; three grandchildren Gabriel, Sean and Isaac; a host nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends whom she loved dearly.
