Darwin Lynn "Bubba" Brown of Groveton, Texas, was born on October 17, 1946, in Lufkin, Texas to Albert and Lois (Holcombe) Brown and passed away to his eternal home on August 26, 2021, at the age of 74 years in Groveton, Texas.
Mr. Brown loved to spend time with his family and especially his grandchildren. Bubba was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. In 1965, Bubba graduated from Jeff Davis High School in Houston and later in 1979 he married the beautiful love of his life Cherryl (Crouch) in Humble, TX. Bubba was a businessman. He owned and operated his Hardware Store and Plumbing in Houston for 28 years and retired to his country home in Groveton. Bubba loved animals and he especially enjoyed watching his cows from his back porch. He was a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. Bubba also shared a love for Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He loved to take a ride out and enjoy the countryside.

Mr. Brown is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Cherryl Brown; son, Cody Lynn Brown; daughter, Lou Ann Rock; son, B.J. Brown and wife, Shayna; son, Joel Babauta; brothers: Alvin Brown and wife, Debbie, and Bert Brown and wife, Teena; grandchildren: Bobby Williams, Hunter Williams, and Riley Ann Brown and a host of nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends also survive.

Bubba is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Lois Brown and nephew, Dustin Brown.

Visitation will begin Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 6:00 PM until 8:00p.m. at Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, TX. Funeral services will be held in the Groveton Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 29, 2021with Darryl Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Bennett Cemetery in Apple Springs, TX.
