Memorial services for Mr. Danny Paul Turbeville, 63 of Groveton will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 25th, 2016 in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, Texas with Reverend Dennis Turbeville officiating.
Mr. Turbeville was born October 13th, 1953 in Dallas, Texas and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 21st, 2016 in Groveton, Texas. Danny attended school at J. Frank Dobie High School and upon graduation he began to work for Powell Industries. He was employed with Powell Industries for thirty-four years until his retirement. In his spare time, he loved to hunt. He often couldn't wait for the season to open. He also enjoyed watching sports and was a huge Texan fan. Danny loved to spend time with his family and friends and enjoyed making new memories. He is preceded in death by his father Leroy Turbeville in June of 2016 and a son Coley Paul Turbeville.
Danny is survived by his loving wife of twenty-nine years, Sue Stanley Turbeville of Groveton; his son Mark Alan Turbeville and wife Elyse of Deer Park, Texas; mother Anna Louise Turbeville of Houston, Texas; sister Linda Turbeville Miller of Houston, Texas; brothers Dennis Turbeville and wife Lynnette of Vidor, Texas, Ronnie Turbeville of Houston, Texas, and Tim Turbeville and wife Terri of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren Coley Shane Turbeville and Brittany Turbeville, both of Dallas, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
