D`Ann Cleland of Friday, Texas, was born on August 6, 1947, in Houston, Texas to R.L. Ginn and Doris (Ruffner) Ginn and passed away to her eternal home on November 6, 2021, at the age of 74 years in Friday, Texas.

Mrs. D`Ann  is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Harold Cleland of Friday, TX; children: son, Greg Cleland of Bellville, TX; daughter, Melissa Chestnut of Friday, TX; brother, Richard Ginn of Houston, TX; sisters-in-law, Barbara Ginn of Houston, TX, Virginia Godwin of Tomball, TX.; granddaughters: Morgan Idom and Raynee Cleland both of  Lumberton, TX; grandson, Parker Chestnut of Friday; granddaughter: Olivia Krupala of Bellville, TX; great grandchildren: Irie and Brantley of Lumberton, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also, survive.

D`Ann is preceded in death by her parents, R.L. Ginn and Doris (Ruffner) Ginn; stepfather, James Ruffner.

D`Ann loved working in Pediatrics as an RN for 44 years and spending time with her grandchildren was very important to her. She also loved going on trips. D`Ann was a firm believer in going to church and to bible study when she was able to go at the First Baptist Church of Groveton.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 11:00 am at Groveton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lewis Jones officiating. Visitation will begin 10:00a.m. Thursday November 11,2021 in the Groveton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery.
