Cora Lee Reynolds Smith, age 77, of Groveton, completed her earthly journey and went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 15, 2014 in Lufkin, Texas. Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, February 17, 2014 at Groveton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of the Groveton Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pennington Cemetery. She will be escorted to her final resting place by her pallbearers, Michael Williamson, Stetson Garrett, Clifford Moore, Heath Perkins, Court Droddy and Brandon Reynolds.

Cora was born on March 5, 1936 to her parents, Clifton and Annie (Thompson) Reynolds in Possum Walk, Texas. She enjoyed mother hood and raising her family. She loved spending time with all of her grandchildren whenever possible. She was very much a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She is preceded in death by her father, Clifton Reynolds; mother, Annie Lee Reynolds; two sisters, Mary Lou Lowery and Jo Ann Perkins; grandson, Cy Woods; great grandson, Phierson Offer. Cora leaves behind her children, son and daughter-in-law, Clifton Earl Smith and Pat Smith, of Apple Springs, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Nita Woods and Mitchell Woods, of Crockett, Texas; son, Roger Smith, of Pennington, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie Offer and Harvey Offer, of Huntington, Texas; son, Kenny Smith, of Pennington, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Kayla Williamson and John Williamson, of Nacogdoches, Texas; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Jim Reynolds and Nora Reynolds, of Jacksonville, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, John Reynolds and Patricia Reynolds, of Groveton, Texas; brother, Clifford Reynolds, of Groveton, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Nelson Reynolds and Linda Reynolds, of Groveton, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Delores Moore and Billy Moore, of Groveton, Texas; sister, Dianne Droddy, of Latexo, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Buddy Reynolds and Keri Reynolds, of Groveton, Texas; sister, Bobbie Jean Tuck, of Ava, Missouri. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, also survive.
