Charles Allen Woodard was born in Liberty, Texas on June 3, 1960 to Charles Wayne Woodard and Carrie Johnson Woodard. He passed away on February 5, 2019 in Groveton, Texas at the age of 58 years.
Charles loved his family and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren while taking them for long rides out on the four-wheeler. He also enjoyed going on outings, fishing and hunting with his two sons. He was a hard worker and worked driving heavy machinery for over twenty years until his health would no longer allow him. He loved life and enjoyed all the many blessings that the good Lord had bestowed upon him. He will be missed dearly by all his family and beloved friends.
Mr. Woodard is preceded in death by his father, Charles Wayne Woodard; brother, David Dwayne Woodard and uncle, David Woodard. His survivors include his wife, Jackie Woodard of Groveton, TX; daughter, Danielle Ewing and husband, Robert Ewing of Groveton, TX; daughter, Paula Arman and husband, Travis Arman of Groveton, TX; mother, Carrie Fay Woodard of Onalaska, TX; brother, Jerry Woodard and wife, Connie Woodard of Livingston, TX; sister and sister-in-law, Donna Holmant and Rhonda Hughes of Onalaska, TX; sister, Annette Ross and husband, Ricky Ross of Livingston, TX; sister, Jean Pemberton and husband, Rick Pemberton of Onalaska, TX; sister, Joy Allemang and husband, Curtis Allemang of Livingston, TX; sister, Ann Norris and husband, James Norris of Cleveland, TX; grandchildren: Kyndall Leighton Arman, Robert Sherman Ewing, III, Eli Clayton Ewing and Sophie Grace Ewing and a host of other beloved relatives and friends.
Memorial Services and visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 8, 2019 in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, TX.
