Funeral services for Mr. Charles McClain, 78 of Groveton, Texas will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Groveton Funeral Home Cartwright Memorial Chapel with Bro Lewis Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. Charles was born in Center Point Texas on February 25, 1936 to Thomas Edgar McClain and Nona Lois Friday. He passed away on Friday, August 15, 2014 in Conroe, Texas. He was a rancher, a member of the Dorcas Wills Baptist Church in Trinity, member of the American Legion and a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. Charles is survived by his wife Brenda McClain of Groveton; daughters & sons in law: Lois Ann & C.L. Brorsen and Terri & Barry Hughes; Son: Charles Cody McClain; Sisters & Brothers in law: Peggy & John Haggard and Ginger & Tommy Freeman; 3 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
