Funeral Services for Charles Kenneth Lowery, age 75 of Possum Walk, Texas will be Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM in Cartwright Memorial Chapel of the Groveton Funeral Home with Bro. Douglas Lowery officiating. Interment will follow in the East Prairie ~ Possum Walk Cemetery. Visitation is Monday, May 2, 2011 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the Groveton Funeral Home.

He was born July 17, 1935 in Groveton, Texas to Lesley Olen Lowery and Hattie Phene Ainsworth Lowery and went to be with the his Lord and savior on April 30, 2011 in Crockett, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lesley and Hattie Lowery, wife, Mary Lou Reynolds, father-in-law, Clifton Reynolds, mother-in-law, Annie Lee Reynolds, sister, Freda Mae Cathey, brother, Cleo Lowery, and grandchild, Casey Lee.

Charles is survived by his wife, Ola Mae Holmes Lowery of Possum Walk, Texas, children, Andrea and Danny Bollinger of Bullard, Texas, Laura Michelle Barnett of Groveton, Texas, Marvin Lowery of Groveton, Texas, Randall and Kathy Horn of Bullard, Texas, Chuck and Jessica Lowery of Tyler, Texas, step children, Wesley Holmes and Terresa Young of Pennington, Texas, Danny and Debra Holmes of Pennington, Texas, Calvin and Pam Holmes of Pennington, Texas, Kelly and Ricky Holub of Hackley, Texas, Tracey and David Bullard of Pennington, Texas, 28 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
