Funeral Services for Carolyn Francis Tsikas, age 80, of Groveton, Texas will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the Groveton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lester McAdams officiating. Interment will follow in the Pennington Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

She was born July 13, 1931 in Crockett, Texas to parents, William Herbert Doyle and Daisey Dianna Ava Marie (Ridley) Doyle and went to be with her Lord and savior on June 25, 2012 in Lufkin, Texas. Carolyn loved spending time with her family and enjoyed helping with the youth. She was a Sunday School teacher at church and participated in organizations such as Ladies in Action, the Garden Club and a past den mother for the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Lynn Nolley, daughter, Karen Scarber, granddaughters, Heather McCourtney and Chelsea Scarber, grandson and wife, Justin and Connie McCourtney, sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and David Bailey, brother and sister-in-law, James and Amanda Doyle, brother, Norman Doyle, brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Novie Doyle, brother-in-law, Truman Fussel. Numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive.
