On April 11, 2024, Carolyn Meadows Coston went home to be with the Lord at the age of eighty-four.

She was born on October 6, 1939, to Alfred and June Meadows, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was married to John Roger Coston. They spent over fifteen years together. She worked in Real Estate for numerous years & then got licensed in Crop Insurance, in the valley. She loved sports, especially ice skating. She was also very active at Northwest YMCA with her sons & nieces. Carolyn was raised Baptist but later attended Methodist Churches as well.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and June Meadows; husband, John Roger Coston; son, Mitchell Scott Keeling; and sister, Mary Jane Minter.

She is survived by her son Michael David Keeling and wife Elida of Brenham, Texas; and special nieces, Lisa Kay Atkinson and Jana Lynne Stroud.

Death leaves a memory no one can heal. But love leaves a memory no one can steal. She will always be loved and missed dearly by her family and friends.

Friends and family are cordially invited to visitation from 1 pm until 2 pm on Tuesday April 16, 2024, at the Groveton Funeral Home. Celebration of life service to follow, at 2 pm, graveside in Sumpter Cemetery in Woodlake, Texas.
