Carlos Maldonado Huerta, age 46, passed away on September 9, 2025, in Groveton, Texas. Carlos was born in San Ciro de Acosta, S.L.P., and throughout his life he was known for his good heart, his hardworking spirit, and his sense of humor. He could make anyone laugh with his jokes and always carried himself with humility and kindness.

He was preceded in death by his father, Miguel Maldonado †. He is survived by his mother, Celestina Huerta, his brothers Martín and Raúl, and his sisters Guadalupe, Micaela, and Alicia Maldonado Huerta, as well as many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Groveton Funeral Home, 1019 W 1st Street, Groveton, Texas 75845.

We are forever grateful for the prayers, love, and support from family and friends during this difficult time. Carlos will be deeply missed and always remembered.

Carlos nació en San Ciro de Acosta, S.L.P., y a lo largo de su vida fue conocido por su buen corazón, su espíritu trabajador y su gran sentido del humor. Siempre hacía reír a los demás con sus bromas y se distinguía por su humildad y sencillez.

Le precedió en la muerte su padre, Miguel Maldonado †. Le sobreviven su madre, Celestina Huerta, sus hermanos Martín y Raúl, y sus hermanas Guadalupe, Micaela y Alicia Maldonado Huerta, además de muchos familiares y amigos que lo quisieron profundamente.

La velación se llevará a cabo el miércoles 17 de septiembre, de 4:00 PM a 6:00 PM en Groveton Funeral Home, 1019 W 1st Street, Groveton, Texas 75845.
