Funeral Services for Callie Lyndel Rollins, 79 of Apple Springs, Texas will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 29, 2011 in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of the Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, Texas with Rev. Nimmons to officiate. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Apple Springs. Pallbearers are Brian Thorne, Trevor Thorne, Steve Bentley, Clayton Rollins, Don Nevins, and Freddie Thorne. Honorary Pallbearer is Ben Pyle.

Callie was born February 22, 1931 to Joe Lester and Hallie Frederick Lester in Trinity County, Texas and went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 27, 2011 in Lufkin, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. She enjoyed going to church as long as she was able at the United Methodist Church and she was a retired school teacher.

Survivors include her husband Kenneth Beek Rollins of Apple Springs; sons Alan Rollins of The Woodlands, and Ken Rollins and wife Linda Parker Rollins of Chandler; four grandchildren; Two great grandchildren; brothers, Fred "Duddley" Lester of Lufkin, and Billy Joe Lester of Groveton. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive..
