Bud was a simple man and often stated that he was born a hundred years too late. He had no need for frivolous luxeries of the modern world and could have survived and thrived a hundred years ago. What he lacked in monetary riches he more than made up for with the love he offered in exchange. He was always concerned for his children and his siblings. He had an unlimited love for gardening and never lacked appreciation of earth's beauty. He had a passion for reading and planting flowers. Those who took the time to get to know him could not help but love him for he possessed a heart of gold. He was a quiet man, but if he offered advice it was always extraordinary advice. His inspiring presence will deeply be missed by all that had the privilege of knowing him.
