Brian Scott Parker was born August 12, 1965, in Crockett, Texas to parents, John Hulen Parker and Helen (Lewis) Parker. He peacefully returned to his heavenly home Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the age of fifty-seven years.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, John, and Helen Parker; brothers:  James Clifford Parker and David Parker.
Mr. Parker is survived by his loving wife, Tina Parker of Groveton, TX; children: son, Morgan Parker of Humboldt, IA; son, Aaron Parker of Groveton, TX; daughter, Addyson Parker of Groveton, TX; siblings: brother,  Randy Parker and wife, Rhonda Parker of Groveton, TX; brother, Ricky Parker, Sr. and wife, Kay Parker of Groveton, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive.
Scott worked for many years in the warehouse for Brookshire Brothers holding numerous positions throughout his tenure.  After retirement, Scott enjoyed playing golf, participating with any thing that was Texas A&M related, helping the youth, spending time with his family and friends, and coaching baseball or softball for his children's sporting events. Scott loved encouraging the youth as he cheered for them throughout their lifetime events. He rarely met a stranger and was a friend to many.
Visitation for Mr. Brian Scott Parker will begin Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, Texas.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023, beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the Oaklawn Baptist Church with Bro. Lester McAdams officiating.  Burial will follow in Moore Cemetery in Groveton, TX.  The family will receive visitors after services at Oaklawn Baptist Church.
